This is our first year with a pellet stove. We started out the season burning a different brand (don't remember the brand but it is the one sold by Sam's club) but then discovered your pellets. Your pellets were so much better than the other brand...they burned cleaner and seemed to put out more heat. We love the pellets. You can definitely tell that they are made with wood, not waste, since they also smell so good. Your bags are so much better than all the other brands out there too.

I bought a few bags of your Rocky Mountain Pellets at our local Tractor Supply store. These are, hands down, the best pellet I have ever burned in several years of using pellet fuel. This winter we tried about 6 different brands of pellets. Was not happy with them for many reasons.(very dirty,bag tore easy,low heat) One day Menards(a lumber supply)had a supply of your pellets. They are clean and put out good heat. Would like to find a business that carries only your brand and is close to our home.

We had purchased some of your pellets from our local Tractor Supply Store in Vestal, NY. We absolutely love them! Your pellets are a dream and I would love to figure out a way to access them by the ton locally.
Your pellets are almost dustless, when dumping them in the hopper you do not get a puff of dust in the face and even manually handling them the hand remains free from dust. Your pellets burn longer and hotter than most of the hard wood pellets I used and they burned clean. They did not cause a lot of built up on the inside of the stove like some others did. And the extra bonus was the pine smell!

Recently I purchased some of your pellets at a local Tractor Supply outlet in Skowhegan, Me. Rocky Mountain pellets are a superior product to any locally produced pellet that I, personally, have tried thus far. I am sure that the market for your product would be good in this area once people realized the superior quality of Lodgepole Pine pellets produced as a primary business and not that of a waste disposal facility.
Although I am just a consumer, I can recognize quality when I see it.

They sell as fast as the store gets them. They are the best pellets we have ever burned. We have burned many different brands, as we have had a pellet stove for years. Best heat other than wood but don't have the mess like wood.

Customer Question - Have concern about the cre0sote pine is known to produce in chimmeys.
Reply from RMPC - Thanks for your question. Our pellets are made of pine trees that have died from the pine beetle. The creosote comes mainly from the bark and sap. We debark our trees and most of them have been dead for some time, so the sap has all but left the tree by the time it gets to our plant. Therefore, there is very little to be concerned with in our pellets. I am hearing from most of our customers that they are "hands down" the cleanest pellets that they have ever burned.
Customer Reply - Your right! They are the cleanest we have use by far. Also, we noticed that we don't have the BIG clinkers with your product that we got with some of the others.
I'm currently using your product and am very pleased with it. We have used a pellet stove since 1994. We have used several other wood products but yours seems to produce more BTU which means "HOT HEAT WARM FEET". Thank you!
Hope Sutherlands in Fulton, Missouri continues to stock your product now and in the future because I will be telling all the people I have convinced to buy a pellet stove all about it.

Hi - We just bought some of your pellets from TSC here in Ohio. I was skeptical because they were pine but after a few bags I don't want to burn any other brand! They burn hot and very little ash. We purchased 4 bags in Brighton and like them better than any we have used. Went back to the store and they were sold out so we had to settle for the more expensive hardwood pellets they were selling but are not as effictive as yours.
Your pellets keep the glass cleaner than others we have used. Also, they do not produce as much ash and appear to generate more BTU's than the hardwood pellets. I guess what I am saying is, they burn cleaner than the other pellets we have tried.

I have told the Home Depot Corporation that you have the best pellets by far of any I have used. I understand that they may have placed an order for next year in any case and that you are supply constrained now... As far as I am concerned they should make you their sole supplier but I suppose Colorado doesn't have enough dead pine trees for that :-). DO you have any other retailers in New York ? I also like the bag/handle design and mill strength of the plastic...just superior.

Just tried your pellets for the first time and really like them. I'm in the customer support business myself, so I feel feedback is important. Here's what I like about your pellets : the BTU output is good, not the best I've ever seen, but good, no real complaints. Second, the burn produces a very light ash which flies out of my firepot very easily, which is good, because it means I don't have to clean the firepot as often as when I have a pellet that produces a heavy ash. Anyway, nice job out there in CO., and I hope I get a chance to burn more of your product.

We were very pleased to finally find a truly superior quality wood pellet at the end of last season. Rocky Mountain Pellets were the best we have found in the 5 years we've had our stove. Right down from the quality of the packaging to the hotter, longer, cleaner burning quality of the pellets. There is a very major noticable difference between your product and all others we've used. We purchase our pellets from various local stores and am pretty sure we found your product at Menards. However, none of these stores seems to consistently carry any particular brand. We've contacted Farm & Fleet (our preferred store location) to suggest your product to them and will seek out your brand anywhere we can find it in our area. We live on the border of Illinois and Iowa (Moline, IL & Davenport,IA). Do you know of any store that is or will be carrying your brand this season? Can I beg you to market your product to stores in our area?! I have entered a truckload request from pelletsales.com but don't know of others in my area that have stoves. I might decide to hang out at the pellet areas of the local retailers and do a little marketing to the customers myself! LOL. Thank you!

I was fortunate to visit my local Tractor Supply when they had just four tons of your pellets left. A friend that works at the store convinced me to try another brand that he thought was really good. He said that he had never tried Rocky Mountain pellets, but "his brand" was really top notch. At the last moment I changed my order to 3 tons of your pellets and one ton of the recommended competitor's brand.
I wish I had stuck with my original order of four tons of Rocky Mountain pellets. I guess that's how we learn.

This is my first year of owning a pellet stove. I bought a Harman P61A, the best brand of stove my research could find. I started the heating season with a pallet of hardwood pellets.
On a recent trip to Tractor Supply Co, I picked up a couple of bags of your pellets to see if I could notice a diffence in your pellets over what I was using.
I immediately noticed the increased qualilty of your pellets. My door glass doesnt smoke up, the stove runs cleaner, and I dont burn as many pellets. Wow!
I looked up your website and see I am not the only person impressed with your pellets.
Now I have to finish burning the lower quality hardwood pellets and only hope Tractor Supply is still carrying your brand when I need more pellets.
Keep up the great work and its nice to know you are recycling trees killed by the beetles and not killing trees to make your pellets.

I have owned a pellet stove for 5 years now and have burnt corn, hardwood pellets and now your brand. I was very wary when my wife brought home 10 bags from the colby ks. orschlens store. I did not think that pine pellets could put out anywhere close to the heat of hardwood pellets made in missouri. How wrong i was, I am very happy with the performance of your pellets. They put out way more heat than the sawdust pellets and are a heck of a lot cleaner than them or corn when burnt. I have lived in the Granby area before and am happy that you are using up the dead trees and helping to reforest that part of the rockies and make it look so good again. Thanks for a great product.

Congrats!!!! I have been burning wood pellets for 5 years now and I can honestly say that your pellets are the best I have ever used. In the past I have used hardwood and other mixed wood pellets in our pellet stove. Your pellets are by far the lowest maintenance pellets I have used. In the past, I would have to shut down my stove twice a week to clean the burn grate of hard cinder/carbon type deposits. This required the use of a heavy scraper and a lot of muscle. With your pellets, I have not done it at all this winter!!!!! Absolutely amazing.
Keep up the great work and I will go long and far to make sure your pellets are the only ones run through my stove!!!!!!!

I would also like to add that I think your company is doing a great job at recycling the beetle killed trees. It is too bad that you(or your suppliers) can not access the National Park to remove the dead trees. I am concerned that a lightening strike on that area is going to do 1000 times more damage than some controlled logging. Rocky Mountain Park is a tinder box waiting to blow, and when (not if) it does, it will not be a good thing!!!

My wife and I have been heating our home with pellets for six years and last year we bought and used your pellets. We were so impressed by your product and how clean the pellets burned. We did not have to clean our units anywhere near as much as with other pellets. Because of the clean burn, hardly any fines (some other pellets we purchased in years past would have lots of dust at the bottom), the handle on the bag, and the fact that the bags were recyclable, we thought your product was the pinnacle of pellets!
